FryeWorks

FryeWorks

FryeWorks creates high quality contemporary picture framing for the New York City area. David Frye is an experienced designer and framer specializing in conservation framing techniques. He asked for a redesign of his existing site which consisted of outdated imagery that did not effectively communicate the company goals. After some thought and discussion with David, I created a stacked image of different frames. This new image emphasized the framing rather than the artwork inside the frames.  I also enhanced and deepened the symbolism of his existing logo by adding frame brackets. Read their testimonial.

The Dragonfly Bed and Breakfast

The Dragonfly Bed & Breakfast

The Dragonfly Bed & Breakfast is located in the picturesque town of West Brookfield, Massachusetts, on the corner of the town common. Michael and Mark LeBlanc Peterson lovingly restored an 18th-century Colonial in a tranquil Old New England setting. They offer comfortable guest rooms, delicious breakfasts made from all-natural, local ingrediants and a warm, luxurious get-a-way. They are conveniently located to many towns in Central Massachusettes that host annual festivals. We created a website that illustrates the beauty of their home and offers users a sense of what they will experience when they stay. Please check out the site! Read their testimonial.

S'more Than Camp

S'more Than Camp

Scott Arizala has just published his first book, S'more Than Camp. Maintaining consistency with the cover design, I created a website to highlight his book and offer users a chance to purchase the book directly from Scott.

In S’More Than Camp, Scott Arizala lays the foundation for best practices when working with campers. From his years of experience as a camp person and in the trenches as a youth development professional, he shares the fundamental concepts and key skills to understanding the experience of summer camp and working with kids.

The Camp Counselor

The Camp Counselor works with summer camps training their staff, designing programs, guiding administrators, writing curriculum and a whole lot more! Founder, CEO and Presenter, Scott Arizala, specializes in energetic, fun and professional workshops on a range of topics.

Scott needed to update his website, adding new menu items and creating a new, fun and camp-friendly look and feel. We used the blue and green colors from The Camp Conselor logo to achieve consistency and maintain branding.

Lazy Crazy Acres

Lazy Crazy Acres

Lazy Crazy Acres was a small family-run, grass-based dairy farm located in the Catskill Mountains of New York State. They hosted tours, community events and educational programs on the farm. Unfortunately, they closed in March 2009. You can learn a lot about dairy farming from reading their website!

We started the process by designing their logo, which established the look and feel of their branding, and from there came up with a design for the website. They wanted to communicate their sense of fun as well as their alternative farming beliefs.

Organize Right Now

Organize Right Now

Lea Schneider, founder of Organize Right Now, and her team offer home and office organizing services both in person, to residents of Pensacola, FL, as well as online. She had a website that was out of date and, ironically, needed organization! She and I worked together to come up with a new website structure and, after getting to know her and the company, I submitted a fresh, clean and welcoming new website design.

Due to a limited budget, she also wanted to be able to create most of the pages herself. After completing the homepage, I made templates for the remaining pages that she used to finish her site. Read their testimonial.
